PRACTICE STAFF
The Practice
Manager is
responsible for the smooth running of the practice. Should you have any comments,
good or not so good, on the service provided by this practice, please write or
ask to speak to the Practice Manager.
The Receptionists have the sometimes difficult task of ensuring that appointments,
telephones and general office duties run smoothly. Please help them by being
a 'patient' patient. They may sometimes need to know the nature of your problem,
but be assured that there are good reasons for this and the receptionists are
bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors.
Practice
Nurses are employed in the treatment room and are available by appointment
for blood tests, holiday vaccination, ear syringing, dressings etc.
Attached
Staff
The following staff attend the surgery

in preventative health care. They give expert advice and support for children,
the disabled and the elderly.
They operate the child immunisation
and well baby clinics with the doctors to assess and ensure a child's development
and good health during the early years.
They can be contacted on 01253 657515.
District
Nurses provide general nursing care in the community to the housebound
and patients recently discharged from hospital. They can usually be contacted
on 657524.
Community
Midwives work with the doctors to provide antenatal, delivery and
postnatal care for mother and baby.
Community
Psychiatric Nurses are available to help patients cope with stress,
mental illness and relationship problems. The doctors will refer patients to
a CPN if appropriate.
